![]() The girl in the mirror is not your friend. She’s a liar. A thief. A silent assassin. She is you. She stalks. Hungry. Waiting for her prey. The unlucky target? Only you. The girl in the mirror is all-knowing.
She’s in charge Of thoughts Body and soul. You. She reminds. Hunger. Is only a construct. An unimportant reminder You must ignore. The girl in the mirror is never satisfied. She’s disgusted. Ashamed. Fully disappointed In you. She eats. Hungry. Devouring confidence And everything in sight. So you can’t. The girl in the mirror pretends. She’s a saviour. A mother. Someone who cares About what’s best for you. She threatens. Hunger. With coffee and chewing gum Easily surviving on air As you begin to fade away. The girl in the mirror smiles. Victorious, she dictates Every waking thought Calorie and bite You pretend to take. She prowls. Hungry. Growing stronger With every meal You skip. The girl in the mirror is not your friend. She’s a liar. A thief. A silent assassin. She is killing you. Comments are closed.
