![]() To my heart— Why is it never enough? Never completely whole. There’s always some piece I’m chasing after. I wish I could blame you For the anger and pain and fear I wish I could blame you
For the love and happiness and hope. Your pulse is steady. But your feelings aren’t. You’re erratic. Random. Everywhere and nowhere and all at once. You’re so fragile. I can’t hold on to emotion forever. The moments slip away. But I think you’re always first. I listen to you before anyone else. I trust you because you can feel. Promise you won’t ever leave. You make things different. Without you, what would life mean? What would I mean? Four chambers working in unison, Pumping a life force through me. Tears. Joy. Laughter. Heart. It really is you, isn’t it? Comments are closed.
