![]() [content warning: allusion to death] it's forgotten friendships, unreturned i love you's, steel dipped in red it's an orchestra of oxymorons: sad smiles lifeless love silent screams it's a deafening dissonance of sadness & anger & fatigue who each want their own solo it’s water disguised as ice that
cracks under your feet as you fall to— find yourself in tartarus phlegethon’s embrace the only warmth you know it’s outstretched palms achromatic & wilting & desperately searching for something to close around yet the only reachable target is yourself. it holds a poisoned blade to our throats watches the clock tick only a few decrescendoing heartbeats till we surrender in silence.
