That old woman who sells garlands, She has a tiny stall outside the temple, She has a sick husband at home, She wants to see him walk, She wants to see him talk, Hope is dangerous for her. But she is holding onto hope. That mother whose son is fighting for the country, She prays for him day and night, She wants to touch that brave face, She is waiting for him to come, Hope is dangerous for her. But she is holding onto hope. That father who has a daughter, He wants to see her fly, He wants to see her shout, He wants to be proud, Hope is dangerous for him. But he is holding onto hope.
