![]() Put me in a room full of mirrors and watch me crumble. Watch as I pull myself apart
and weep. Watch me scramble to get out. I’m trapped! Someone help me! Someone teach me that my skin is skin that deserves to be loved. Teach me how to erase the self-hatred that is smeared all over my skin. Drown out the voices that furnish my head and bring me down. Teach me that despite my flaws, I am still warm enough on the outside. Simrah Sasenaryan is 18 years old and from Pembroke Pines, Florida. She does not have prior writing experience, nor would she call herself a writer, but finds herself passing time by writing lines down for poems. She likes to write about her own experiences, as well as mental health. Comments are closed.
