becomes blinding, burning retinas. fanning internal flame. a monsoon of passion washing over engulfing trying to whisk away trying to enter lips. there it is. my happiness my love my peace on the sand. after gifting another chance at life. after vanquishing a cruel fate. they didn't stay. into the water they dove. i blinked POOF a sea of cotton swallowing me my place of solace a home for broken dreams.
