It’s an ironic situation,
For us humans in quarantine.
In the past we stayed at home and gamed all night;
We spent our money effortlessly until our bank accounts raged;
Most importantly, we ate until we couldn’t see the TV anymore.
But now, things have changed.
We have been struck with a worldwide pandemic,
Ready to wipe us out,
We long to go outside to have a jog,
Suddenly even produce isn’t affordable anymore;
And instead of crouching our necks painfully,
We crouch our backs and shoulders to death.
Us humans in quarantine have realized:
Everything before has been taken for granted.
